************************* Thefts/ mischief - Vehicles were entered on Fournier Road and in the 100 block of Churchill Avenue where two suits were taken.

************************* Bail court

- Twenty-year-old Brittney Wiebe of no fixed address was arrested on the 15th of July at 8:45 p.m. at the Algoma Remand and Treatment Centre and charged with two counts of assault. It is alleged that on the 25th of April at 3:30 a.m. the accused was with several other youths on Boundary Road and participated in the assault of a young male and female that were unknown to her. The victims were able to flee their attackers and called police. They later attended at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

************************* Warrants

- Twenty-six-year-old Jason Gilbert of 53 Cathcart Street was arrested on the 15th of July at 7:05 p.m. on Tancred Street for an outstanding probation and parole warrant. He was released with a court date of the 16th of August.

- Twenty-six-year-old Brandon Bennett of 212 Farquhar Street turned himself in and was arrested at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service on the 15th of July at 6:34 p.m. The accused was wanted on outstanding warrants for allegedly failing to attend for court and failing to attend for fingerprints. He is compelled to attend court on the 16th of August.

************************* Break and enters

- Construction trailers on Weldon Avenue were entered last night and numerous tools were taken.

- A business in the 300 block of Queen Street East was broken into overnight and it is unknown what was taken at this time.

- There were break and enters to residences in the 500 block of Wallace Terrace, the 300 block of Fifth Avenue, and on Granite Street. A television, computer monitor, camera and video games were reported stolen.
