************************* Nineteen-year-old Michael Gingras of 2820 Mission Road was arrested on the 2nd of December at 12:51 a.m. on Rossmore Road and charged with one count of possession of stolen property, one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of breach of probation.

It is alleged that last evening the accused attended at the Metro Store on Second Line West and stole a bag full of meat products and fled on foot.

The accused was located later in the evening walking down Rossmore Road in an intoxicated condition carrying the stolen items.

At the time of the offence the accused was on probation with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

He is to attend in bail court this morning.

************************* Twenty-nine-year-old Cynthia Ayotte of #405-631 Macdonald Avenue and 26-year-old Amber Stringer of 583 Sherbourne Street were both arrested around noon on the 1st of December at Zellers on Northern Avenue and both charged with one count of theft under $5,000.

It is alleged that they attended at the store just before noon yesterday and stole approximately $491 worth of items from the store.

They were apprehended by store security and held for police.

Both are to attend in court on the 4th of January, 2010.

************************* Twenty-three-year-old Ashley Gagnon of #20-2 Manitou Drive was arrested on the 1st of December at 7:10 p.m. on Pine Street and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.

It is alleged that on the 1st of December just after 7 p.m., the accused attended at the Food Basics Store on Pine Street and stole a variety of items throughout the store.

She is to appear in court on the 11th of January 2010.

************************* A 17-year-old male youth was arrested on the 1st of December at 5:17 p.m. on Pine Street and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.

It is alleged that yesterday around 5 p.m., the accused attended at the Food Basics Store on Pine Street and stole around $4.27 worth of items.

He is to attend in court on the 5th of January 2010.
