************************* Female charged with theft and attempt fraud

Thirty-seven-year-old Tina Doxtador of #3-152 Second Line West was charged twice yesterday with theft and fraud-related charges.

It is alleged that on the 23rd of June at approximately 1:09 p.m., the accused attended at the Station Mall IDA, took a bottle of vitamins [not exactly as illustrated] off the shelf and then attempted to return them for a refund.

She was apprehended by store staff and held for police who attended and charged her with one count of attempt fraud.

Later in the day, around 5:55 p.m, the accused attended at Joe’s No Frills on Korah Road and stole some Energizer batteries.

At that time, police charged her with one count of theft under $5,000.

She is to appear in court on both charged on the 27th of July.
