For the second time in one week, New York City's Times Square has been evacuated.

Reports indicate that Police have discovered a suspicious package at 46th Street and Broadway.

The Toronto Sun reported that a live webcam shot of Times Square at 1:35 p.m. today showed the area had been cleared of traffic and pedestrians.

Viewers who now attempt to view the Times Square webcam receive a message that states: "This stream is temporarily unavailable to the public."

After further investigation, authorities determined the package in question was not a threat and contained water bottles and books.

On Saturday, May 1, the same area was evacuated after an SUV containing possible explosives was discovered.

One man is in custody in relation to Saturday's incident.
