Golf icon Tiger Woods was injured in a car accident that occurred early this morning near his Florida home.
As he was leaving his home at approximately 2 a.m., Woods' vehicle reportedly struck a fire hydrant before hitting a tree located on his neighbour's property.
Woods was transported to Health Central Hospital where he was treated for facial lacerations and released.
The incident remains under investigation, and charges may be pending.
