Tickets for 'A Christmas Story' on sale now

A Christmas Story, based on a classic 1983 movie of the same title, is coming to the Sault Community Theatre Centre in an Algoma Repertory Theatre production. The audience will experience an exploding furnace, school bully, a wet tongue getting stuck to a cold lamppost and, of course… the hilarious leg lamp. Tickets are on sale now. Algoma Repertory Theatre (ART) is bringing the hit,  'A Christmas Story' to the Sault Community Theatre Centre this December, and tickets are on sale NOW! 

Based on the classic 1983 movie of the same title, the story is humorist Jean Shepherd’s memoir of growing up in the midwest in the 1940s. Nine-year-old Ralphie Parker is on a quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun under the tree for Christmas. Ralphie pleads his case before his mother, his teacher and even Santa Claus himself. The consistent response: “You’ll shoot your eye out!” This is a seasonal classic complete with an exploding furnace, school bully, a wet tongue getting stuck to a cold lamppost and, of course… the hilarious leg lamp. It’s bound to be a holiday favourite for the whole family. 

Directed by Marc Beaudette, the cast includes Tim Bass, Amanda Moss, Lauren Kroll, A.J. Brisson, Riley Korschin, Riley Forsyth, Maggie Lawson, Isabella Nardi, Rorie Nelson, Jake Dobrovnik, Quinn McCraken with Shyanne Korschin, Sarah Hapanovich, Annie Martin and Ambar Thompson.

Tickets are $35 for Adults, and $30 for Students, Seniors and Children (Plus applicable taxes and fees).

Seating will be limited: patrons will be seated in every second row, with two seats left between each group to allow for distancing. Be sure to buy for your full group together, and get your tickets early so you don’t miss out! Remember, per Ontario guidelines, you must show proof of full vaccination to enter the theatre, and you will be required to wear a mask during the performance.
