Thursday update on Hallam murder investigation

***************************** Wesley Hallam homicide investigation update - Seeking public’s assistance in locating van

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 2000 white Pontiac Montana van with tinted windows and a black roof rack.

This vehicle is being sought in relation to the Wesley Hallam homicide investigation.

This van is believed to have been involved in events immediately following the homicide.

The owner of the van and the occupants are known to police.

As this is an on going investigation, we cannot comment as to their involvement or what specific part this van played in the homicide.

This van was frequenting the downtown area in Sault Ste. Marie around the time of the homicide.

Since that time police have been unable to locate it.

The van may not have any license plates on it.

If it does they are likely the wrong plates for this van.

The persons known to be associated with this van are residents of Sault Ste. Marie but have connections to the Batchewana, Garden River and Goulais Mission areas.

The van being sought is the white van in the bottom centre of the image.
