We usually try to keep it local around here, but we thought we'd just take a moment to fill you in on what some of your fellow northerners are having to put up with on this fine April day.
The lovely folks of Thunder Bay woke this morning to something of a freezing rain disaster that has left flights cancelled, homes without power, cars slipping and sliding, trees covered with ice, and dogs with frozen water dishes (see photo above).
Oh, and then a train derailed, but the cause of that is under investigation.
The freezing rain is expected to continue into tomorrow.
The people in the video below seem to be making the best of it, however.
