*************************** Three new fires in the region yesterday

Eighty-seven fires to date in the East Fire Region since April 1.

One new fire was reported in Algonquin Park and two in the Sudbury district.

All three fires were 0.1 hectares in size and have all been called out.

The forest fire hazard is low throughout the East Fire Region.

Always use caution with all outdoor fires and follow safe burning guidelines.

Remember to choose a safe site, keep your fire small and never leave it unattended.

Ensure the fire is put dead out before leaving the site.

If you live in a municipality, check local bylaws for any burning restrictions that may apply.
