The Sault Cycling Club is proud to once again host our Trails Fest event, this year from June 7-9. We are planning a three-day festival dedicated to trails… all kinds of trails. We will start the weekend with an urban trail event, starting and ending at Outspoken Brewery.

On Saturday we will have an epic backcountry adventure called the Great Batchawana Adventure Ride – pick 20, 40 or 70 km worth of adventure. Sunday is our classic trail party at Kinsmen Park, with a few twists thrown in this year, including the grand opening of a new kid’s balance bike trail.

The Urban Trail event is on Friday, June 7 from 7 - 9 p.m., and Outspoken will be open until 11 p.m. for us. The ride is $10 for club members or $15 for the general public, This fee covers some post-ride snacks and supports the local trail development activities in Sault Ste. Marie.

The Great Batchawana Adventure will start on Saturday, June 8 at 9 a.m. for the 70 km ride, 11 a.m. for the 40 km ride, and 1 p.m. for the 20 km ride. All rides should wrap up together around 4 p.m.

The ride is $30 for club members and $45 for the general public. This fee covers coffee and fritters at breakfast, and some snacks along the way, and supports the local trail development activities in Sault Ste. Marie.

The Trail Party at Kinsmen park will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, it is free to attend, and there will be demo bikes that are free to ride as long as you can sign a waiver and provide ID. There will be guided rides at a variety of riding levels, and attendees may want to bring cash for some barbeque and beer.
