*************************** OEB releases decisions on 2009 electricity distribution rate applications

TORONTO - (March 16) - Today the Ontario Energy Board (the Board) issued its decisions regarding 2009 electricity distribution rate applications for the following utilities:

- PUC Distribution Inc.

- Rideau St. Lawrence Distribution Inc.

- Hydro Ottawa Ltd.

- Enersource Hydro Mississauga Inc.

- Guelph Hydro Electric Systems Inc.

The impact on the delivery portion of the bill resulting from the decisions released today ranges from an increase of 2.3 per cent to an increase of 8.2 per cent for residential customers using 1,000 kWh per month.

The delivery portion makes up approximately one-third of the total bill.

The distribution rates take effect May 1, 2009.
