NEWS RELEASES
************************* Eighteen-year-old Jonathan Beharriell of 130 Arden Street and a 16-year-old male youth were arrested ysterday at 4:25 p.m. at Canadian Tire and both were charged with one count of theft under $5,000.
It is alleged that on the 11th of September at 4:20 p.m., the two attended at the store and stole bear spray.
They were apprehended by store security, helped by police.
The 18-year-old is to appear in court on the 6th of October and the 16 year-old on the 7th of October.
************************* Theft reports
- An iPod was reported stolen from a dressing room at the Essar Centre.
- A purse was stolen from a porch of a residence in the 100 block of Henrietta Avenue.
- Two bikes were stolen from a residence of Gore Street.
- A vehicle was entered on Superior Drive. A buck knife, the ownership and insurance card were reported stolen.
************************* Mischief reports
- A vehicle parked at Sault College on the 11th of September was dented.
- A small amount of spray paint was discovered on the rear of the Wal-Mart building.
************************** Break and enter report
- There was a break and enter reported to the storage closet in the hallway of an apartment building on Queen Street East.
