************************* Male shoplifter arrested
Eighteen-year-old Glen Deschenes of 34 Grosvenor Avenue was arrested on the 29th of January at 2:17 p.m. at Zellers on Northern Avenue and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.
It is alleged that on the 29th of January just before 2 p.m., the accused attended at the store and stole a pair of Sony headphones [not exactly as illustrated] and an Xbox 360 controller.
He was apprehended by store security and held for police.
He is to appear in court on the 3rd of March.
************************* Thefts
- A vehicle on Manitou Drive was entered at around 2:28 a.m. this morning. The owner observed two males in the vehicle and called police. The males fled on foot prior to police arrival. A passport, a satellite radio and a case full of CDs were reported stolen.
- Licence plates were stolen off a vehicle that was parked at the Pine Street apartment complex yesterday.
- A vehicle on Grosvenor Avenue was entered and identification and some change were stolen.

Two tires of a vehicle were slashed in the parking lot of Sault College sometime yesterday.
