Faithful SooToday.com readers will remember that last Friday, we were telling you about 41 guys who were being inducted at that night's Soo Greyhounds game into the Sault Ste. Marie Hockey Hall of Fame.
It turns out that the people who issued the list of inductees to the media neglected to mention Brian Watson and Carmen Scarfone.
Brian played for the 1979-80 Legion Midget team and Carmen was the trainer.
Well, two mothers read that story and started working the phones to SooToday and the City of Sault Ste. Marie.
It's now been officially confirmed that Brian and Carmen are official members of the local hockey hall of fame.
And their totally awesome moms have been officially named to SooToday.com's Moms Hall of Fame for making sure their boys didn't get overlooked.
