************************* David Helwig: I have a story to share with you and your readers about something that happened to me last night at the grocery store.

I would like to be able to thank these kind people who helped me and hopefully they will read your story. Every day you hear about the crimes and negative things that people in this city have been doing, so today I would like to share my heartwarming story with you all. Last night at about 5 p.m. I had went to No Frills with a coworker on the way home from work.

I was in the process of checking out and went to get my bank card to pay for my order when I realized I could not find it anywhere in my wallet or in my purse.

Not wanting to hold up the other customers, I asked the cashier to void my order and I would purchase it when I found my card. I was out in the entryway on the pay phone with my mother to see if I had left it in our vehicle when a man and woman walked past and said that they had paid for my groceries.

I thought I had heard wrong so said: "What???"

He repeated they had paid for my groceries and walked out.

My coworker found them in the parking lot as I was still on the phone.

They would not give anything but their first names, which were Gideon and Liz. This was not a couple of dollar grocery order.

We are talking about a bill of 185 dollars.

They absolutely did not have to do such a thing.

I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for their kind-hearted gesture.

I would love nothing more to reimburse Liz and Gideon and if they choose not to be, I would at least want them to know that I will "Pay it Forward". Thank you so very much from a single mother of two. Sincerely, Jennifer ************************* 11:23 p.m. update
