NEWS RELEASE

************************* The following thefts were reported yesterday and overnight:

- A male attempted to steal a motorbike that was parked at a residence on Borron Avenue on the 15th of April at approximately 12:04 a.m. The suspect was unsuccessful, but did steal a tool kit off the back of the bike. The male was described as 5’11, early 20s, possibly wearing a hat and a blue-and-black jacket. He was last seen running towards Macdonald Avenue. Officers attended in the area and could not locate the suspect. - A wallet was stolen out of a vehicle that was parked on Fauquier Street on the 14th of April.

- A wallet and some keys were stolen at the Continental Hair Stylist on the 14th of April.

- Licence plates were reported stolen off a vehicle that was parked at the apartment complex on Connaught Avenue on the 14th of April.

There was one break and enter reported yesterday to a residence on James Street that occurred sometime between the 5th and 14th of April. A microwave, some silverware and DVDs were reported stolen.

There was one mischief report taken yesterday. A homeowner reported the fence in the rear of his property has been damaged during the past couple of days.
