Soo Greyhounds vs. Saginaw Spirit

Cheer on your Greyhounds as they face off against the Saginaw Spirit at the GFL Memorial Gardens. Puck drops at 7:07 p.m. Tickets are available at the GFL Box Office, online, or by  calling 1-866-775-9422.

Saturday

Meet Author Jennifer Barone

Local author Jennifer Barone will be at the Children's Library in Richards Landing from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. She will be sharing her new children's book Snowflake, Snowflake! Meet and greet will consist of storytime and crafts. Both of Jennifer's books will be available for purchase.

Shelf Building with Fred Nardi

This is an opportunity to learn basic carpentry with Fred Nardi. Starting at 1:00 p.m., you will learn how to safely use tools and you will have a beautiful shelf to take home with you. Cost is $55 for members or $65 for non-members.

Mini Pop Kids Live

Mini Pop Kids 'Bright Lights Concert Tour' feature this year's beggest hits. This experience for the whole family runs from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at the Sault Community Theatre Centre. There are a number of different packages available. All children must be accompanied by a paid adult. Visit the Sault Community Theatre Box Office or online for more information.

January Jam for the United Way

Jam out with local bands to raise funds for the United Way of Sault Ste. Marie. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., music starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Marconi Event Centre. Tickets cost $15 per person.

Robbie Burns Dinner

Join the Royal Canadian Legion in celebration of the life and poetry of Robert Burns, the author of many Scots poems. Cocktails at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m. You will enjoy roast beef with hagis, and entertainment by Scottish country dancers, highland dancers, pipes and drum. Cost is $25 per legion member, $30 per non-member.

Soo Thunderbirds vs. Espanola Express

Cheer on your Thunderbirds as they face off against Espanola at 7:00 p.m. at the John Rhodes Community Centre. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for students/seniors, $5 for kids 5-12 and kids under 5 are free.

Sunday

Stryders Relief Run

Non-members are welcome to join the Sault Stryders to run a non-timed 5 km route by donation to raise funds for the Red Cross of Australia. The club asks that you bring a cash donation. Meet up time is 9:00 a.m. at the Tim Hortons on John St. All levels and abilities are welcome.

5th Annual Hiawatha SnowFest

Activities at Hiawatha's SnowFest include cross-country skiing, fat biking, as well as a 5 km snowshoe run. There are prizes, various distances, and food and drink available for purchase. More information about the event and tickets are available by visiting Hiawatha online.
