Thieves target boats, unlocked vehicles

************************* Trailer park residents victims of thefts

ELLIOT LAKE, ON - The East Algoma OPP is currently investigating several thefts from a trailer park north of Elliot Lake.

Sometime during the early morning of August 22, 2010, unknown persons entered the trailer park area and stole several items.

Fifteen people were victimized by thefts of fishing rods, fish finders, tackle, school supplies, purses, wallets, a satellite radio, a GPS and a circular saw.

Also taken a white Mac laptop and a Cannon camera.

Items were taken from boats and unlocked parked vehicles.

Some property was recovered at the scene.

Anyone with information regarding the above theft is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Any information that leads to the arrests or identity of persons responsible can lead to a cash reward.
