Beth Tetreault of Thessalon is at the Players Championship Grand Slam of Curling event in Summerside, P.E.I. this weekend with a great opportunity.

The first-year curler has qualified to throw one rock for the Capital One Million Dollar Button contest during the fourth end of the men’s championship game at noon on Sunday.

Tetreault earned the opportunity to compete  in the contest after winning a quarter-final during the GP Car and Home World Cup of Curling, held in Sault Ste. Marie in November. Tetreault won the draw to the button quarter-final by drawing to 6.5 inches of the button.
