Saturday Art Making: Learn art techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media taught by local artists and art educators. Hosted at the Art Gallery of Algoma, 50 East Street, from 10 a.m. to noon for ages 6 to 12 years. Session runs from March 22 to May 3. Call 705-949-0967 for details.

Saturday Art Club: Parents and children will work together to discover art in the studio and in the exhibition galleries. While exploring lots of art mediums, this class will provide opportunities for creative play and fun learning. The Festival of Beer: The Trilogy continues at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre  from 1 to 7 p.m. and features 16 Ontario craft breweries pouring more than 50 kinds of beer. For more information, call (705) 943-3074.

Cherry Crush is set to hit the stage at the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. East, at 10:30 p.m.

Techniques for Teens at the Art Gallery of Algoma: Learn art techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media taught by local artists and art educators who bring their talent and experience to each class. Class runs from 1 to 3 p.m. and is for ages 12 and older. This session runs from March 23 to May 4. Cost: $70 AGA Family Members, $80 Non-members. Please call 705-949-9067 for more information.

The Algoma International Film Association will screen The Lunchbox at Galaxy Cinemas in the Station Mall at 7 p.m. Admission is $6 for members, or $10 for non-members.
