The Sault Ste. Marie Public Library hosts the winner of the 34th Annual International 3-Day Novel Contest, Kayt Burgess, in the main branch program room from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Burgess will read from her winning novel, Heidegger Stairwell. Please call 705-759-5236 for event details.

The Jeff Holmes Band performs at the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd., from 7 to 10 p.m.

Soo Greyhounds vs Kitchener at the Essar Centre. Game time is 7:07 p.m.

Tym Morrison plays the Steamy Bean, 357 Great Northern Rd., from 8 to 10 p.m.
