Bruce Mines Agricultural Fall Fair begins at 1 p.m. with the crowning of the King and Queen. Events continue throughout the day at the Bruce Mines Fair Grounds, including Bruce Mines Volunteer Fire Dept. endurance demonstration (6 p.m.), demolition derby (6:30 p.m.), and the closing dance (9 p.m.). Grand Opening and 50th Anniversary Celebration Car Show at Prouse Chevrolet (851 Great Northern Rd.) includes a General Motors classic/muscle/truck/street rod display. This is part of their 50th Anniversary/ Grand Re-Opening celebration. Prizes and giveaways will be part of the event. Proceeds will be donated to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation.
