2010 Home and Outdoor Show at the Essar Centre features a variety of vendors and activities relating to home renovations, and outdoor living. The show runs from 4 to 9 p.m. Full weekend admission is $6. Children under 12 admitted free when accompanied by an adult.

2010 Home and Outdoor Show at the Essar Centre features a variety of vendors and activities relating to home renovations, and outdoor living. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Full weekend admission is $6. Children under 12 admitted free when accompanied by an adult.

The Sault Ste. Marie Kennel Club will be holding a breeders showcase from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sears court in the Station Mall. We will be holding obedience and rally demonstrations, and will showcase various types of breeds, including German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds, Shetland Sheepdogs, Sibrian Huskies, Golden Retrievers Poodles, Shih Tzus, and Papillons.

Galaxy Cinemas in the Station Mall presents, live from the Metropolitan Opera, an encore performance of Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier at 1 p.m. Tickets are available at the Galaxy Box Office.

Gathering at the Rapids 2010 Pow Wow: Grand Entries are at 1 and 7 p.m. at the George Leach Centre at Algoma University. The day features the Bear Creek Singers (Host Drum), Maheengan Shawanda (emcee), Mariah Atatise-Joudain (head female dancer), Joel Syrette (head male dancer), and many others.

Alzheimer Society 25th Anniversary at 6 p.m. at the Marconi Club includes a fabulous meal, live music by The Cloud Bandits and many exciting silent auction prizes. Tickets are $50 per person.
