The Sir James Dunn Grade 12 Human Growth and Development class will be co-hosting the annual Algoma Public Health Unit Infant and Child Development Program. This event will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church from 1 to 3 p.m. and features activities for all ages, food and refreshments, a visit from Santa Claus, and free gifts.

Creative Spirits Theatre Group presents Community Christmas at the Grand Theatre, 641 Queen Street East. Doors open at 6 p.m. The Main Street Cafe will serve a turkey dinner at 6:30 p.m. The show begins at 8 p.m. Call the Grand at (705) 575-5687 for full ticket information.

Echoes of the World International Drum Festival hosts a variety show at Algoma University's Shingwauk Hall from 7 to 9 p.m. The event features drumming, singing, dancing, poetry, clogging, and theatre. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children aged 12 and under.

Bikers Rights Organization hosts its annual Christmas dinner dance at the Knights Inn, 410 Pim Street. Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner is served at 7:30 p.m. with the dance to follow. Algoma Festival Choir presents Yuletide Fires at Willowgrove United Church, 55 Tilley Road, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets available from choir members or Thomas Walls School of Music.

Five Below Zero plays the Algonquin Hotel, 864 Queen Street East (downstairs), starting at 9:30 p.m.

Big Wheel and the Spokes helps Loplops Gallery-Lounge (651 Queen Street East) celebrate its 6th anniversary. The party kicks off at 9:30 p.m. with give-aways throughout the evening.

Caveman Morrison plays the Nicolet Tavern, 304 Albert Street West. Show time is 11 p.m.
