Dessert and Drama, hosted at the Windsor Park Ballroom at 7:30 p.m. in support of the Pregnancy Centre, features live theatre, music, desserts, and coffee and tea. For your complimentary tickets, call (705) 759-9100.

Bring an instrument to the Friday Night Jam Group at the Moose Lodge on Trunk Road to make music for the fun of making music. Everything kicks off at 8 p.m. Yes, there is a dance floor.

The Grand Theatre (641 Queen Street East) hosts The Vagina Monologues at 8 p.m. All proceeds go to Women in Crisis. Tickets are available at the Grand Theatre Box Office.

Black Dog, a tribute to Led Zeppelin, plays Coch's Corner, 320 Bay Street (in the Days Inn), beginning at 10 p.m.

Andrea Ramolo performs at Loplops Gallery-Lounge, 651 Queen Street East, with special guest The Phonemes. The show gets underway at 10 p.m.

Obsession will showcase its new and improved set list at Docks River Front Grill, 89 Foster Drive, from 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Galaxy Cinemas presents an encore performance of the Metropolitan Opera: Live in HD featuring Bellini's La Sonnambula at 1 p.m. Tickets available at the Galaxy Cinema Box Office.

Auditions for Oliver will be held at the Soo Theatre, 534 Ashmun St. in Sault Michigan from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The play will run from July 9 through July 12, 2009. For more information, call (905) 632-1930.
