Sault Member of Parliament Terry Sheehan will host a town hall on Wednesday, Oct. 12, enabling Sault residents to participate in the ongoing national dialogue on electoral reform.

Those in attendance will explore the principles and values that shape our democracy, learn more about the different electoral systems, and discuss the ways Canadians can participate in voting.

This is an exciting opportunity for community members to discuss and share their views on electoral reform with each other and with their representative, Sault Member of Parliament Terry Sheehan.

This town hall will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the Civic Centre, in the Russ Ramsay room on the third level.

Input from Town Halls across Canada will be compiled and sent to Ottawa to be referenced by the Special Committee on Electoral Reform, so they can take into account Canadians’ thoughts and perspectives.

For further information call Sault Member of Parliament Terry Sheehan’s office at 705-941-2900.
