OTTAWA – Having met with constituents throughout the summer, Member of Parliament for Sault Ste. Marie, Terry Sheehan is headed back to Ottawa, with the first day of the new session beginning on Monday, Sept. 19.

“Over the summer I have had the opportunity to meet and listen to people in our community about what matters most to them. I look forward to bringing those ideas and concerns back to Ottawa where I know we will continue to discuss and improve the lives of Canadians.

Looking forward at the upcoming session, my focus is on helping Sault Ste. Marie. I’ll be lobbying my colleagues and the Government on behalf of our community – to continue protecting steel workers and the Canadian steel industry, to keep working to improve the economy in Northern Ontario, to improve transportation, and to build a bright future through investing in infrastructure and future generations,” stated Sheehan.
