Tenaris Algoma Tubes today advised employees of a full shutdown of its Sault Ste. Marie manufacturing facility, effective for at least two weeks.
Workers were given layoff notices effective February 1 to February 14, employees tell SooToday.com
After that, they will be called back to work as needed.
At time of writing (6:16 p.m. Tuesday) no public announcement had been issued by the company.
