*************************** Bail court for one of two seventeen-year-old offenders

ECHO BAY, ON - (June 25) - Two Sault Ste. Marie youths have been charged after police found them driving with stolen licence plates.

Last night at about midnight an officer stopped a vehicle on Highway 17 in Echo Bay.

The licence plates on the vehicle were reported stolen from Sault Ste. Marie late in May of this year.

The driver was a 17-year-old female from Sault Ste Marie.

She was charged with one count of possession of stolen property and numerous Highway Traffic Act offences.

The passenger, a 17-year-old Sault Ste. Marie boy, was also arrested and held for bail court this morning.

He is charged with one count of possession of stolen property and three counts of breach of probation.
