CHAPLEAU, ON - On November 7, 2010, at 12:25 p.m. Superior East OPP in Chapleau investigated a single motor vehicle collision on Pine Street.

The incident resulted in serious but non-life threatening injuries to a 17-year-old female passenger of Chapleau who was subsequently transported to Sudbury hospital for further treatment.

A pickup truck driven by a 21-year-old male from Chapleau was reversing and turned sharply causing the passenger door to open and the female to fall out onto the street.

This matter remains under investigation.
