************************* A 17-year-old male youth was arrested at 3:50 a.m. this morning at the Market Mall at 275 Second Line West and charged with one count of break, enter and commit, one count of mischief, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance and one count of breach of a release document.

It is alleged that the accused broke into the Toronto Dominion Bank in the Market Mall, damaged a security panel and some filing cabinets and stole some coins, various bank papers and keys.

The accused was located inside the bank by police.

He attempted to flee on foot when they arrived, but was quickly apprehended in the parking lot.

At the time of his arrest he was found in possession of 208 Clonazapam tablets and was on an undertaking with curfew conditions to be in his residence from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

************************* Break and enter reports

- A garage on Spadina Avenue was entered sometime between the 9th and 13th of April. A number of tools and lawn equipment were stolen.

- A residence on McFadden Street was entered from the 12th-13th of April. It is unknown what was taken at this time.

- A residence on Albert Street West was entered yesterday. It is unknown what was taken at this time.
