*************************** Gros Cap beach is safe for swimming

Algoma Public Health has removed the swimming advisory for Gros Cap beach located off of Pinder Drive in Sault Ste. Marie.

Test results of water samples collected on August 11, 2009 met the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care guidelines for safe swimming.

Before swimming, take into consideration the past day’s weather and the current conditions of the beach.

The public is encouraged to visit the beach warnings section to view an interactive map of the beaches sampled and any current warnings or postings.
