************************* Just thought I'd share this rare moment on St. Joseph Island with your readers.

My parents, Mark and Leslie Caccamo, have a log home at Sunset Point, on St. Joseph Island.

While my mother was hanging clothes on the line, she noticed this little miracle in the long grass beside the home.

My parents have deer in their yard nightly, but to see a fawn this close was a very special event.

The fawn was completely trusting of my Mother, and followed her around the yard all morning.

She also became friends with my parents Jack Russell Terrier.

The two of them explored the yard together.

Latter that night, the fawn’s mother came back to retrieve her baby.

In addition to the photos, we were lucky enough to capture the moment on video.
