************************* Male arrested for break and enter

On Monday, September 1 at approximatey 10 a.m., City Police were called to an East End residence regarding a break and enter to a garage.

Upon arrival, officers were informed that a male had just fled from the scene.

Officers searched the area and located the accused male.

It is alleged that the accused broke into a garage on Boundary Road and while there damaged a vehicle and stole a sweater [not exactly as illustrated].

Charged with one count of break and enter, one count of mischief and one count of theft under $5,000 is Brian Harris, age 25, of 519 Boundary Road.

He will be appearing in court on October 6 at 9 a.m.

************************* Break and enters

City Police investigated break and enter reports at the following locations:

- A garage at a residence in the 100 block of Churchill Avenue - it is unknown what was taken.

- A residence in the 100 block of Elmwood Avenue - unknown what was taken.

- A residence in the 600 block of Wellington Street West - a laptop computer was stolen.

- A residence in the 100 block of Murphy Street - unknown what was stolen.

************************* Mischief

City Police received reports of five vehicles damaged over the weekend. Vehicles were parked in the following locations:

- 100 block of Elmwood Avenue.

- 100 block of Van Dale. - 100 block of Carlbert Street.

- 700 block of Peoples Road.

- 200 block of Albert Street East.

- The roof of Kiwedin School located at 750 North Street was damaged over the weekend.

- Residences in the 100 block of Van Dale and the 100 block of James Street had windows damaged.

************************* Theft

City Police received two theft reports over the weekend.

- A purse was stolen from the 500 block of Bay Street.

- Two bicycles were reported stolen from the 100 block of Pretoria Hill.
