************************* Moose and SUV crash

BATCHAWANA, ON - OPP in Sault Ste. Marie were sent to a moose and SUV crash on Sunday morning just north of the Chippewa River Bridge.

On Sunday morning at about 3 a.m. a SUV was traveling south on Highway 17.

The moose came out of the bush and into the path of the SUV.

The moose was killed in the crash but no one in the vehicle was injured.

There was moderate damage to the vehicle and the operator was able to drive the vehicle away.
