Suspects sought after knife robbery in mall parking lot

************************* The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating witnesses to a crime that occurred at the Cambrian Mall at approximately 5 p.m. yesterday afternoon.

Yesterday afternoon, City Police received a complaint from a female that two males approached her while she was in her vehicle at the Cambrian Mall and demanded money from her.

It is alleged that one of the suspects demanding the money was holding a knife at the time.

The two Anishinabek male suspects involved are described as:

- Male mid- to late 20s, six feet tall, long black hair in ponytails. Wearing a white hoodie, cut-off jeans and a blue bandana.

- Male, mid 30s, 5’7” to 5’9” tall, medium build, dark hair. Wearing a black hoodie and light-coloured shorts.

Anyone who may have witnessed the occurrence or observed the suspects in or around the Cambrian Mall is asked to contact the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and speak to the Detective Office.
