Sunwing extends Sault-to-Cuba flights

************************* The Sault Ste. Marie Airport Development Corporation (SSMADC) is pleased to announce that Sunwing has extended its winter season flights for Sault Ste. Marie.

Flights to and from Veradero, Cuba will continue on Thursdays from March 26 and ending with the last outbound flight on April 16 for a one-week stay returning on April 23.

Terry Bos, airport manager stated: “The Sault Ste. Marie Airport Development Corporation has been pleased with the response of the community to the flights to Veradero Cuba as witnessed by the numbers so far this winter and by the decision of Sunwing Travel Group to add additional sun destination flights to Cuba for the month of April.

"This continuing initiative with Sunwing is consistent with the objectives of the SSMADC mandate to enhance air services, meeting the needs of the travelling public. The recent airport terminal renovations have been effective in accommodating this new international service.”
