************************* Burning complaints

Over the course of this past weekend, Fire Services responded to several burning complaints.

Most complaints were as a result of errant smoke disturbing adjacent neighbours.

As a result, Fire Services has issued several 90-day suspensions of these permits.

Fire Services would like to remind the public that, all open air burning requires approval.

Any contravention of the approval or burning without a valid permit will result in an immediate 90-day suspension and/or charges under the Fire Protection and Prevention Act.
