Stewart Yates and his little friend charged with trespassing

************************* Two suspicious males arrested

On the 18th of June at 2 a.m., City Police were called to the area of Lake Street and Macdonald Avenue for youths [allegedly] going through vehicles in the rear parking lots.

The youths were also [allegedly] observed in the backyards of some of the residences in the area.

When officers arrived in the area, the youths attempted to flee, but were quickly apprehended.

One of the youths, a 17-year-old male, was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Charged is 18-year-old Stewart Yates of 14 Clearview Drive with one count of trespassing at night.

He is to appear in court on the 21st of July.

A 17-year-old male youth was also charged with one count of trespassing at night and one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance.

He is to appear in court on the 22nd of July.
