Stephen Harper's visit to the Bushplane Museum

CANADIAN BUSHPLANE HERITAGE CENTRE

************************* SAULT STE. MARIE - (September 3) - The Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre was pleased to host a visit by the Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Stephen Harper.

Over 400 guests were in attendance for a private reception and speeches by Mayor Rowswell and the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister discussed the investment in the International Bridge Plaza, various other projects, and his commitment to projects in the Sault that will start in short order and create jobs for Sault residents and boost our local economy.

After speeches, the guests were able to meet the Prime Minister and have their photo taken with him.

Bob Webb, general manager of the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Center had this to say after meeting the Prime Minister: “It was a great pleasure to meet the leader of our country here at the Bushplane Museum. We have had an exceptional summer here at the centre, we couldn’t ask for a more phenomenal way to conclude the summer season!”
