One male taken into custody

TARBUTT TOWNSHIP, ON - On Thursday April 23 at approximately 4:30 p.m., the East Algoma OPP was called to a home in Tarbutt Township, Ontario. After a night of police presence one male was taken into custody without incident. Six families in the immediate area had been evacuated overnight and are now allowed to return to their residences. The road closures have now been taken down. Criminal charges are not pending and the name of the person will not be released.
