ANISHINABEK POLICE SERVICE

************************* In the early morning hours of October 6, 2007, an altercation took place between two adult male residents of Garden River First Nation.

At a house party, the victim received non-life threatening stab wounds to his upper torso.

He refused medical attention.

The suspect, Terry Allen Belleau, 27 years, of 68 Wolf Street, Garden River, attended hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Mr. Belleau has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and breach of probation.

He will appear in bail court on Tuesday October 9, 2007, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
