NEWS RELEASE

********************* City Police are currently investigating a stabbing that took place around 4:30 a.m. this morning in the City’s east end of town.

A female victim has been taken to the Sault Area Hospital for treatment for her injuries.

Two persons have just been taken into custody (around 6 a.m.) in connection to this investigation.

Few details are available at this time as it is an ongoing investigation.

Officers from Investigation Services have been called out to assist patrol officers in this matter.

Further details will be released later today.
