************************* Emerald ash borer treatment begins

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - Treatment of ash trees on Queen Street between Pim and Dennis streets for the infection and prevention of emerald ash borer is scheduled to commence this week and is expected to continue until the end of the month.

Trees will be treated with the biological insecticide TreeAzin, a natural product derived from neem tree seeds.

The product is used preventatively or at the onset of an outbreak.

It provides protection from emerald ash borer for up to two years.
