Yes, it's weekend again, time for another Saturday-morning cartoon from the lost vaults of your childhood. Or maybe, the murky past of your parents. Today, we present an episode of The Mighty Hercules , which ran from 1963 until 1966.

Yes, it's weekend again, time for another Saturday-morning cartoon from the lost vaults of your childhood.

Or maybe, the murky past of your parents.

Today, we present an episode of The Mighty Hercules, which ran from 1963 until 1966.

The memorable Hercules theme song was sung by Johnny Nash, who later recorded the 1972 hit "I Can See Clearly Now," also presented below.

Jimmy Tapp, the Canadian broadcaster who was the voice of Hercules, died in 2004 in Oakville, Ontario.

Tapp started his radio career doing closed-circuit radio shows on board the HMS Wasaga during World War II, and went on to become station manager of CJAD-AM in Montreal.
