Social services boss gets three years for $600,000 ripoff

Salvatore Cuglietta was sentenced today to three years imprisonment for stealing more than $585,000 while a manager with the Sault office of the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services. Cuglietta, 50, pleaded guilty to fraud.

Cuglietta, 50, pleaded guilty to fraud.

From October 1994 through December 2006, he created false client claims, receiving fictitious Ontario Disability Support Program benefits and payments.
