SooToday.com received the following note and photo from loyal reader Rob Giroux.
"Just wanted to share a nice sight on Pine Street," said Giroux. "Saturday, as I was driving south on Pine Street, I couldn't help but notice a group of people staring at the light pole."
He and his children looked up and saw a beautiful snowy owl gazing down at the people on the street.
"As my kids 'awwwed' we pulled over to take a few pics. It was a nice sight to see as the holiday season approaches."
