Two male youths (one 17 and the other 15 years of age) were both arrested on the 21st of November 2011 at 1:09 p.m. in the downtown area following a report of a theft at Sears.

It is alleged that the two were inside the Sears store (293 Bay Street) earlier where the 15-year-old stole a cologne gift package (value $95.00).

When a loss control officer attempted to arrest the accused, the 17-year-old male physically intervened by grabbing the security officer by the arm and telling him to release his friend.

They were arrested by police after fleeing from the store. They were both charged with “robbery” and released with a court date of the 27 December 2011.
