************************ Male charged with sexual offences Yesterday afternoon, officers with investigation services arrested a 47-year-old male at the police station and charged him with one count of sexual assault, one count of sexual interference and one count of invitation to sexual touching.

It is alleged that the sexual offences occurred at the residence of the accused between the 1st of January 2006 and the 31st of August 2006 and involved a female relative under the age of 16 years.

He is to appear in court on the 12th of April.
