SooToday.com received the following note and accompanying video today from faithful reader, Janet Anderson, whose husband Jeff has waited almost 40 years to celebrate a Boston Bruins Stanley Cup victory.
***************************** Good morning,
Yesterday as Boston was having their victory parade my husband Jeff had one of his own.
He drove his Boston-decorated lawn tractor down Queen Street, from East to Dennis.
He even has a little Stanley Cup on the top of it.
Nobody believed that he would do it, but the non-believers still showed up to cheer him on.
A true Boston fan, he's waited 39 years for the Stanley Cup and he wanted to do something to show his spirit.
